Karador is extremely versatile Abzan commander for any creature heavy theme. Karador offers amazing card advantage with the ability to cast a creature spell from your graveyard. Abzan colours offers a vast amount of different tribes and synergies for different subtypes.

As Karador cares only for the creature spells, you can extend it to cover enchantment creatures and artifact creatures, too!

The ways to discard are plenty: cycling, rummaging, end steps discard phase, to name a few. Discard decks are built around triggers from discarding, like madness and synergizes well with reanimating.

Lifegain is one of the the most popular themes in EDH. Multiple triggers to gain life and value received from the lifegain triggers are really fun to follow as a player. Often lifegain is combined with another theme, +1/+1 counters or creature tokens, as pure lifegain is often not powerful enough to win the game.

Insects are a less supported tribal as most of the insects are fairly weak combat wise, and they have a very low amount of synergies.

As green has the best mana ramp options in the format, and the biggest creatures, too, it is only natural that big creatures / stompers decks are popular in mono green. Stomper decks have lots of ramp in them, and aim to cast big creatures to wreak havoc to the opponents.

Hydra tribal

Hydras are greens biggest and baddest creature type with many different creatures. Hydras are many-headed snake-like creatures and are often x-spells, where the spent mana is turned into a massive, single creature. Hydra decks creates massive creatures to attack and receives benefits from power-related synergies.
